Meridian, Idaho: Molded cable assembly, cable, and harness assembly. 25,000 sq. ft.
Meridian – Interconnect
This facility employs 47 and has automation and assembly processes, that reside within 25,000 square feet of our Meridian facility.
The Wire Harness operation commenced business in 1978 and specializes in discrete wire harnessing, custom cables and mechanical assemblies.
The Interconnect operation provides assembly services and, in some cases, just-in-time deliveries, to low and medium volume customers.
This group’s capabilities include prototype services, molded cable assemblies, coaxial assemblies, and harnesses. Additionally, the
processes have the ability to work with and mold polyurethane, which is a product with properties (soft and flexible cable) that fit
well within cable applications. This operation is also penetrating new RF (radio frequency), fiber optics, and flex cabling market
applications, which will greatly enhance the current cable technology capabilities.
Our Interconnect markets occasionally impose costs that are below our capabilities. As a result we have developed alliance cable
relationships in China to support our customer’s very low cost requirements. Several customers have been added in the past two years,
with diverse applications in the gaming industry, medical equipment, consumer electronics and utility applications. Many of these new customers were attracted to this operation by references from our existing
customers.
The Interconnect division is UL approved and has CSA certifications.
