Meridian, Idaho: Printed circuit board assembly, Electro-mechanical assembly (box build), direct SCM order fulfillment. 80,000 sq. ft. ISO 9002 version 1994.

Meridian – PCA/Product
The Meridian operation was started in 1988 and primarily focuses on manufacturing SMT printed circuit assemblies. In February of 1999 this operation expanded to provide complete EMA turnkey solutions for customers. This group is located in a new high-tech, 80,000 square foot facility in Meridian (Boise area), Idaho and has 66 employees.

Meridian’s printed circuit board assembly supports turnkey and consignment customers from the local area as well as in several western states. The Meridian operation has prototype and design capabilities with alliance partnerships. Its processes are automated and can accomplish Plated-Thru-Hole (PTH) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) applications.

This operation also produces electro-mechanical assemblies (EMA), which generally involve wiring harnesses, printed circuit boards, enclosures, test fixtures, power supplies and more. Meridian has the capabilities and skills necessary for assembling these components and electrically testing final assemblies to customer’s specifications. In addition, they offer service solutions to help design products and/or create testing documentation as well. This often leads to lower manufacturing costs due to the fact they are able to inherently “design in” fewer manufacturing steps. The goal is to provide a seamless process for our customer’s product transitions and order fulfillment as we execute their time to market and time to volume.
