Printed Circuit Board Assembly ("PCBA") and Electro-Mechanical Assembly (“EMA”)
The Colorado operation was acquired in September of 2000. This division was previously known as SurMounTek, Inc. The company was
started in April 1994, in Thornton, Colorado before moving to Westminster, Colorado in January of 1998. In April of 2001, the
Colorado operation upgraded its business location and growth capacity by leasing a building with approximately 65,000 square feet
of office and manufacturing space. This operation employ’s approximately 50 people.
The Colorado group provides printed circuit board assembly services supporting both surface mount technology (SMT) and
plated-through-hole (PTH). Additionally, they have experience in electro-mechanical (box build) assembly.
The Colorado operation allows Western to provide customers (backup) manufacturing capabilities and a location to service clients
located further east of the Northwest US.
